WEBMASTER - Why did "[IMG] code is OFF" suddenly seem to change on here?

This is really a question to the webmaster, but I thought I'd post it publicly in case others have the same trouble.

All my photo links come out as hyperlinks, even though I have the correct bracketed img & /img on them.

I've deleted my cookies, logged back in, reset the "Show image attachments and [img] code in Posts?" to no & then back to yes, and toggled the "allow VB statement".

What else can I try to get them to show a photo and not hyperlink? At the bottom of my screen, it shows "[IMG] code is OFF"

*** Just noticed that "IMG is OFF" is only on Off-Topic board. Click on Main board and it jumps back on! Whats up?

Probably *because* this is the Off-Topic forum. Given all the sexy photos / gross photos / fake or real "funny" images that *may* get posted here from other places on the net, and cause offence to someone reading this site.

Most people coming here expect car related stuff, so even though this is the OT part, making pictures not actually appear here is probably easier to moderate than having to keep checking back to make sure someone hasn`t posted something unsuitable. (that appears to be "inside" www.bmwm5.com as opposed to a separate window showing a web address *not* here)

Ahhhh, my sorry... Your right, I see now that there are no (or very few) photos here. I thought it was just me.

And also if you'll notice in the table of contents that this forum along with several others apparently has NO moderators! I guess Gustav feels that he can take care of these threads too!
