A K9 police officer and a possible career in computer science. Are you planning to do both? This will certainly give you a means to and end. Perhaps maybe even to get a M5 of your own someday.

You shouldn't use money as a motivating force between your career making decisions. Just my .02 cents. You should pursue a career that you know to be something that you will love doing. One of the things I did was to pursue a degree in two different fields with a third possible choice on the way. The first was Psychology, the second was in Media communications (graphics design) and the last possible career choice for me would be something in the educational field. Decisions, decisions!
Well I am trying my best to go with what I realy want. I know that is police work. haha If I was going for the money, that would NOT be it I have a real desire to go into law enforcment, and I won't let anything stand in my way. as far as running a business on the side, I want to do that for fun. I would be very happy if I only had one of these things... so if I did them both, I would be thrilled!
And with my university degree, I will always have something to fall back on..which is nice.

I'm curious as to what you mean by this board having a bigger influence on you. This could be viewed as a good and a bad thing. Depends on how you see it.
Well I look up to everyone here, and gain a lot of knowlege from allt he diffrent people. I wanted to avoid saying it, but it is like everyone on this board is like a second set of parents... I learn from your mistake and am influenced by your views. I think this is a good thing because of the huge deversity of the group. Even through all my personal ups and downs, BMWM5.com was always there as a constant
So I would say it is a very good thing.... except maybe not so good for my wallet

I just added up the total posts in this thread alone for Eric, Jason, and Tfung...

Eric = 17 posts
Jason = 24!
Tfung = 15

Wow! Now I know how you guys ahve been getting so many posts! And now it is no surprise how Eric just hit 2000!

You three should consider yourselves lucky that OT posts count towards your total!

What about yourself, Duncan? You've posted a fair bit here too!

If you think about it, the number of posts that we three left here is very small compared to the overall number of posts we have.

But you're right...every little bit counts!

In your quest to hurry and get a post out, you probably accidentally hit the wrong button.

Try the "IMG" button next time.

Here's that "airplane" lobster.

Why you lil pipsqueak, you just wait and see! I'll be a "M5 guru" pretty soon and then you'll be changing your tune!

The weird thing is that the "IMG" works fine in the M5/Z8 section.
