I'm dead serious believe it or not. You'd be best suited in using a Matte black spray paint as opposed to glossy. It'll look pretty good.

no way dude... that would ruin the monitor... I'm pretty sure of it... I can live with a lower quality screen.. as long as it's black.... :p

I believe that IBM is the only option for you then. I don't know of any other manufacturers that offers black LCD monitors. Samsung is silver/black though if that's worth considering.

lemme go and look into samsung now... what other good brands are there? I heard that nokia LCDs are ok as well...
