I'm just interested to see if a poll like this will catch on in the forum.

Socially, I tend to be a little more liberal.
Fiscally, I am very conservative.

I don't really care, I was thinking just a general current political events thread, I was just throwing out a conversation starter. I'm okay with merging threads, but I don't know how to.

You can't merge threads, I'd do it...

We'll leave this alone for now and see how it progresses - I may move it into the health-care thread if that's what it turns to. But if it is a general day's news thing, that's fine - though new threads about specific topics tend to pop up every couple of days.
