Need binoculars

I have been thinking of getting a good quality binocular for a while but haven't gotten around to it because there is so much different types. I am primarily looking for something to gaze the sky and possibly for checking the targets at the outdoor range. So the ideal binos I am looking for are (in the order of contradiction):

1. Obviously crisp and clear within their specified range (for the two applications above).
2. Suitable for someone who wears corrective glasses
3. Image stabilized if possible
4. Comes with laser range finder if possible
5. And last but not least, I have seen some binos that can take DSLR type glass and some that can act as a lens with adaptors to take pictures through your DSLR. I am not sure what and how of this but it would be awesome if this was possible too.

Any ideas.

I think I am going to go for the image stabilized canon 10x42

Much rather go for the 18x50 but the weight and field of view are not conducive especially for sky gazing. Any other ideas.

p.s. Greg, wife and kids are fine, we were thinking of spending a night in Sedona and thought a set of binoculars would be nice.

I'm completely satisfied with my Leica Ultravid 7 X 42 binoculars. They have extended eye relief for glasses/sunglasses.. I use them for falconry, or feeding giraffes.

Why would you need binoculars to feed giraffes? Do you serve the food on the binoculars?

Don't be silly. You use the binocular *case* to hold the giraffe food, while you use the binoculars to check the parking lot to see if anyone's breaking into your car.

Maybe on Bushnell's but certainly not Leica's!

How many acacia leaves does the case hold. Giraffes can eat A LOT of leaves!
