Seriously, I get into NYC tonight, whats the plan?

Just seeing if there is anything going on and if anyone wants to grab a beer or something. I will be here for a bit, so it can be whenever.

Well...if no one shows up, *I'd* head to the Carnegie Deli for a pastrami sandwich( well, 1/2 of one) , then walk to John's Pizza (theater dist) for dinner.

1/2?? Amateur. I'd eat both halfs, potato latkes, AND a piece of cheesecake.

I only said 1/2 because I'd then walk to Johns for pizza.

I brought a CD Pastrami Sandwich on a plane from NY to CA once. Everyone else on the plane had the crappy airline food, and they could *all* smell this thing. Everyone was jealous. It was awesome!

Tell ME about it! I'm 3000mi from Carnegie. (Have yet to find a good pastrami sandwich in CA. I've only been here 26 years though, so I guess I just need to be patient)

Food in California absolutely sucks. Especially for transplants. I don't know how you guys deal with it.

Wow. *All* food? Across the entire state? On average, the Italian food does suck. Best Mexican food anywhere though. Probably best Japanese too. Maybe Chinese too. Thai. And if you look around/know people, you can find good *any* kind of food.

I'm not a fan of Mexican food, but I will wager to say the Texans on the board will fight to the ***** that their Mex food is better than Cali Mex.

As for the Asian foods...It's New York and it isn't close.

Restaurants are a constant disappointment in Cali...East Coast rules, Kommie Coast drools!!!
