I vote to reinstate Ranger. Yes, his posts are passionate, and yes, some people are provoked by him, but his recent threads have inspired some rather outstanding thoughtful discussion from all sides. I am also anxiously awaiting the results of his ASR TT build, and I suspect the results will be forthcoming in the near future. Despite how some feel about Juan, many of us are highly anticipating his impressions of the build.

+1. His main "targets" (Dave & Diny) aren't complaining. They give back as good as they get. Again, if he was a Noob spouting all that stuff, or if he was "attacking" other Noobs, it'd be a different story. But dude's an M5 legend! Yeah, he gets a lot of rope, but if anyone deserves it I think he does. And I'd say that if he was a radical Lefty. Mad props for *anyone* who 1) escapes a Communist country, 2) fights for his new country, 3) becomes a Dr and spends his days saving lives (when he's got time between rants. I mean, his little write-up of the guy who'd be dead if it weren't for him the other day was epic.) I mean...no matter what I accomplish in life, can it = *saving a man's life*? And yeah, that doesn't really excuse boorish behavior...but I think it's cool enough to give him a pass anyway.

Probably because of the overall negative tone of his posts and the inability to make a civilized argument. Still, that's no reason for banning. Like mentioned before, he also contributes in other forums and he does inspire some good debates even if he's not directly involved.

If you can't tell by my latest replies to his posts, I don't get worked up anymore. Although I did manage to keep a relatively cool head in the beginning, it just felt like i kept hitting a wall. And I got some very amusing ramblings in return. So humorous replies to humorous posts seem fitting. I noticed that most of us just do a slightly sarcastic reply, and then someone who basically agrees with Ranger but has a waaaaaaay cooler head makes a counter-point. And that's how it keeps going.

BTW, SoCalJD....if you leave.....then you're ignorant

Maybe he's being given another cooling off period?

I'd like to think other people would take a moment to consider their posts as well before they get overly personal...
