SPX - yes.
Good to hear that it works out... You need the flat-top mount for the TA31 ACOG, I think I ended up reversing the mount as well... I have the same setup for my Sig 556 except I have the TA31TRD with the red-dot sight mounted on top of the ACOG... I have the TA11F for my AR15 and TA31F for my MSAR STG556... I love the ACOG, with the BAC system you engage multiple targets very quickly and accurately, it is definitley the perfect optic for an assault rifle.
Also, interstingly enough, my friend who owns the gunshop, just asked me if I'm intersted on the Savage bolt action sniper rifle chambered in 7.62 .308. LOL... do we know the same gunshop?

Mine is a right handed setup for sure, but the stock can be removed and I'm all but sure you can get a reversible chin guard. The grip didn't feel like anything other than perfect for my hand. I didn't notice right handed indentations.

Got tired of waiting around for my SSG-3000 so I picked this up - wasn't awful for around 1600 bucks. I had to buy new rings for my scope though that cost a little over 10% of the gun...THAT pissed me off.

BTW - my TA31 is the RCO-A4CP (http://www.trijicon.com/user/parts/p...4&categoryID=3)

You know what the best part of the scope is, and I'm completely serious, the wires holding the caps to the sight. I have this on my lenses...Can't tell you how many covers I've lost over the years before this little trick.

One here at my club according to the website. Not always updated, but may want to check it out if you're still in the market

SSG-3000 is a nice bolt action rifle... I'm leaning more towards the Blaser Tactical 2 or the Accuracy International chambered in .338 Lapua. It is a huge investment plus you'd probably want to invest in top of the line scope as well...

That's a good price for that 3000. I'm gonna play with my BAT/S for a while and see how she rides. I strapped my Leupold onto the Savage, we'll see how she flies next weekend (I hope).

Nice story. I buy from one of the stores mentioned in the article, and like most, they are having difficulty keeping handgun ammo in stock but not long gun fodder. The good stuff can still be found, but you have to know where to look.

The attached image may be slightly off topic but would make a great Xmas (or Hanukkah or Winter Solstice) stocking stuffer.

Funny you say that, it seems to be the opposite here. Handguns and ammo, no problem at all to find up here...The bigger stuff isn't staying on the shelves.

I wouldn't want to be the cameraman having a hot .50 bmg shell ejecting into my face, or at least to my camera...

Some ******* was blowing through rounds in an AK47 at the range and the shells eject about 15 feet. ******* didn't even put up a net. Kept hitting me at my position either in the head or down the neck once. You normally don't want to scream at other patrons of a shooting range, but these kids were just out of ******* control with that thing.
