Its not simply the wormwood or thujone content, rather very delicate balance of various herbs that create this unique elixir. I have an antique presentation set.

A friend brought samples from Spain and Portugal, some were technically Absinthe, others imitators, none as balanced as the 3 mentioned earlier.

Like fine single malt scotches, many are good, only a few superb.

Damn, I thought I'd mastered the mystical art of mind reading.

Is this shop near your apt somewhere in deepest Africa or parts unknown? Is the better response, "Dave? ... Dave's not here."?

Going out to dinner at one of W's and Laura's favorite spots, got to morph into my Clark Kent role. On the other hand, I might ask him about good paraphernalia shops, if his S.S. detail doesn't gang tackle me. Up, up and away.............................................. .............

--------------------------------------------------------------
Back to firearm reviews one of these days. I'll ask the S.S. guys what they're carrying as backups.

Who you calling a racist?!? What's with the Morse code?
You could of simply told me you were down with the Brothers. Ask 'em if they got any Bubble Gum.

The Dude: Nobody calls me Lebowski. You got the wrong guy. I'm the Dude, man.

Maude Lebowski: What do you do for recreation?
The Dude: Oh, the usual. Bowl, drive around. The occasional acid flashback.

thug: [holding up a bowling ball] What the fvck is this?
The Dude: Obviously you're not a golfer.

So, I went out east today. On the way to the range, I stopped off for gas and ended up buying a Mossberg 930 and a Trijicon ACOG TA31 for my SSG 556 Swat. Yeah, impulsive like that.

The Trij is the most ridiculous scope I've ever personally seen - unfortunate thing was that when I had it mounted, it prevented me from chambering any rounds. I spent A LOT of time trying to figure this out. I couldn't shoot it once. HUGELY disappointed. The trij was just waiting to be loved by my eye. I was so pissed I just plinked for a while with my Ruger 10/22 and my 700VTR. I don't even care much for the 700VTR (and I didn't bother trying out my Mossberg - I was in a mood).

Called my shop on the way back and told 'em I'm coming back over and I'm pissed. We figured if we could reverse the mount, things would start working again. Trij put loctite over the screws, which is why I couldn't do this at the range, but we got it sorted out. So, I'll have to wait until next weekend to try it for real.

Oh, yeah, and while I was back there, I sold them my 700VTR and bought a Savage BAT/S LE...SIIIIIICK!!!!! Put my bi-pod and Leupold scope on it. Can't wait to try that puppy out on Friday. Will report in with details.

The answer lies within, David:

GRIFFIN-TACTICAL

May also want to get one of these pivot pins for easier take-down:

KNS Precision, Inc. New Products

Got both incoming. You can thank me later

We fixed it - broke the seal and reversed the mount, so the bolts are now on the other side of the charging handle. But that's cool...And I'm expert on stripping my Sig by now, try a bullet tip into the pin if you find it difficult.

SPX - yes.

Boy, both of you are picking up some heavy hardware!!

B.H., looking at the KNS tripods, you need a FFL3, if you don't already have one.

When does the war begin?

That's a nice looking Savage BAT/S, is the pistol grip ambidextrous or for right-handers only? I usually shoot left-handed, non-reversible bullpups are the only small arms that give me trouble. Luckily I'm ambidextrous, so I switch to my right.

When I built my Colt Govt. bowling pin knocker, had a devil of a time finding a solid ambi safety. King's Gun Works - 1-800-282-9449

The Griffin charging handle is a great solution, I have one question about both handles, how easy is purchase wearing gloves?

We've got to schedule a Board shooting event. I'll bring some of my toys....
