There is no possible way you can get a gun legally here in Greece.
I am fond of Knives ,but I would probably stab multiple times my soon ex to be wife so I don't have one.

Whoa. How'd I miss this thread. Thanks for posting, Joe. That Les Baer looks like a beaut. Heard great things about the Thunder Ranch. I am a bit hesitant about paying top $$$ for a 1911, which in general, are more finicky with ammo than my so-far-flawless HK.

BTW - LOVE the Les Baer 1911!!!

---
I went to high school with someone who sells Spyder Co. knives on the side and I'm a big proponent of theirs for concealed carry. Ka-bar for a nice hunting knife. I need a serrated knife, personally. My only knife that isn't serrated is my machete I use for hikes in the woods. I don't need a stabbing knife - I need a slicer. (Looks like there is a spring loaded switchblade in one of the photos which would be illegal in NY [class A misdemeanor]:P)

Nice pistols, photos, groupings & knives. The Les Baer 1911 is a wonderful looking piece. I built a custom bowling pin puncher from a stainless Colt Govt. Model. Quite a bit of internal & external metal dehorning and feed ramp seasoning before it became "smooth as butter". Always impressed how smooth the Les Baer's and other high end customs are out of the box.

Wonder how much the patterns would tighten up using match ammo? Did you experiment around with different brands? I've found most firearms shoot tighter with specific ammo, varies from gun to gun.

For duty, I always use Corbons, +P+ performance with +P pressures.

That is an automatic blade with the Sig P226 S X-FIVE Level 1. I have a few, they're legal to own here but restricted where they can be carried.

Big Spyderco fan, hard to beat their Police Model for usability and carry. If you're ever near Colorado Springs, check out their factory retail store. Every model in stock and they know their stuff. They also stand behind their products. For repair I sent one of their smaller models I've carried for years, the locking mechanism was starting to wear out. They sent me a brand new replacement, no charge.

Benchmade and Gerber also make fine folders and fixed models. My Gerber LMF is always on my side in the wild.

Me thinks you need to stay away from the kitchen knives until one of you is out of the house. She's not worth it.

I'll stick with Absinthe, the unusual flavor bursts and if you drink enough, "Hey wow man!"

I'm a big fan - I remember the first time I partook in the ritual, I was about 15 or 16 and living in a mountain town in Austria on the Czech border as an exchange student. The eldest daughter (20ish at the time) squirreled me away to Prague and took me to a cafe and showed me the process, soup to nuts. It was a "mind-bending" experience!

Ah, another connoisseur.

Bring back any of the Swiss La Bleue or Spanish brands Deva and Mari Mayans you can find. Its now legal in the U.S. to import up to 2.5L for personal consumption. Check the label carefully and pass on all imitators, simply green colored alcohol and licorice.

The preparation is part of the experience. Sugar cube placed on a slotted "absinthe spoon" and the water drizzled over the sugar into the glass of absinthe, typically in a 3:1 or 4:1 ratio, resulting in the milky louche.

After the initial licorice and alcohol impact, 30 minutes or so of the push-me, pull-you effect of the various herbs, if you’re lucky, you’ll see the Green Fairy.
