The reality is, and in line with what many humble observers have known all along, is that the so-called "change" preached by you-know-who is merely political pandering -- bullsh$t, a metaphor for toeing, rowing, enhancing, and embracing the democratic party line. Change is merely a term for a return to the '70s -- cause after that crap's been digested, they'll not only be confiscating your piggy bank (for the "change"), they'll be coming after your "bills", and we'll all be left sh$tting bricks. Simple, beyond simple really, which is why the camoflauge, distortion, and blame-based campaign worked. Credit Mr. Yeehaw Dean, he accomplished one helluva snow job.
Brilliantly, they've persuaded the worst of the media, with the net effect of A) skewing reality to elect their (the media's preferred) candidate, and B) destroying whatever was left of their so-called journalistic integrity. Most are aware that the US was doing well until a dem majority in congress started their partisanship war two years ago. Ah, but that's intentionally glossed over.
Now, we're seeing THE SAME OLD DEMOCRATIC LIBERALS being put in charge of the direction of this country. (In the interest of fairness, this isn't a bad thing if one is seeking to marry one's own mother, or sister, for that matter).
Emmanuel, Daschle, Holder, Napolitano, Clinton, and more old democratic guard yet-to-be-named, combined with veto-proof control for Reid, Pelosi, and Obama. No words can begin to describe the lunacy here.
This is change? Hah.
I would not -- I repeat, would not, would not ever -- offer posts with this degree of commentary if I'd not had the experience to know what this will all mean.
As usual, the aforementioned (those without experience or foresight) will simply (lol) need to wait a few years to figure this out. Rather, in the interim they will lash out to attack the messenger here. (Watch and see).
And while it sickens me to say this, perhaps given the ignorance of the majority of the populace combined with the bias of the media (and due in no small part to former elective mistakes), that this is therefore what we deserve. Only history will tell. I've said this before, but to paraphrase, the great democratic society of the Roman Empire fell, and we're next.
Perhaps we'll end up with a return to the past, i.e.: foreign rule of us "colonies", since we weren't capable as a majority of taking care of ourselves. Btw, do remember to vote for Frank, Dodd, Kennedy, Reid, and Pelosi in future elections. Certainly the taxes levied upon us "colonies" from foreign ownership wiil be less than what'll be coming from our so-called "own". Thanks.
Disclaimer: For those in favor of ludicrously-biased civil rights, the ruination of capitalism, socialistic redistribution of wealth, larger, more intrusive government control over everyone's lives, entitlement and empowerment to those who contribute nothing, extravagant wasteful spending of your tax dollars, bigger earmarks, crippling policies for small business, investments, and entrepenurialism, outrageous union benefits to the detriment of business and the country at large, nonsensical lawsuits, socialist healthcare (at the expense of those who are forced to foot the tab), and let us not forget, unconstitutional legislation from the judicial branch -- well, all of this is a boon, of course.
The entire bottom line here, the entire motivation here, for those that don't yet know is -- and brace yourselves -- TO INCREASE YOUR TAXES to leave you with less control while providing those in government with more control -- of YOUR LIVES, YOUR FUTURE, and the future of your families -- to suit their agenda and more accurately, their chances of reelection.
Again, simple really, as are the voter's who've been so easily sold.
Fwiw, my passion for this subject is experience-based, and in all honesty, I'm not sure at this point whether I'm saddened more by the newly elected mandate for this country or the ignorance of the country at large who've voted for all of this.
