how does one "thank" a user for a given post? Struggling to figure this out.
To reply with a 'thanks', simply press the 'thanks' button in the lower right corner of the persons thread you would like to thank. It is not necessary to 'reply' or 'quote' the message. You should be able to see the 'thanks' icon for each posted message--it's right next to the 'quote' button.

The Following User Says Thank You to RussRamz For This Useful Post:
The objective credibility of this article is undermined by the reporting (as if it were fact) of the long-discredited story that Obama 'launched his political career out of Bill Ayers living room'.
This has been independently researched (Chicago Sun Times fact check) and confirmed that Obama's kick-off to announce his run for state senate was at the Hyde Park Ramada Inn on Sept. 19, 1995. Obama was introduced by then state Sen. Alice Palmer in a room filled with supporters at the Ramada, fronting Lake Michigan on South Lake Shore Drive, near the Museum of Science and Industry.
But I'm sure the rest of this Fox News article must be 100% objective.

So you're telling all of us Obama decided upon his introduction at that moment in time that he was going to run for the Senate
I think I decided many future courses of action with regard to my life while taking a healthy dump...
What F'ing difference does it make when he decided what other than he dealt with a terrorist on an amicable basis at some point in his life. Oh yea, he also sat in on Sermons of a nut-case racist. Oh yea, he is a Marxist, oh yea!!!

Agreed, it is irrelevant when he decided to run for the senate. He might have been taking a dump when he made the decision. My comment was on the apparent lack of objectivity revealed by the writer's inclusion of the discredited 'Bill Ayers living room' account. As soon as I came across that line early in the article, the writer's the slant came into focus. Either that or he is not well informed.

In my sarcastic (or is it?) view, just because Obama associated with, was in both friendship and business alliances with, accepted financing from, contributed financing to, collaborated with, mentored his views, used them as babysitters, and attended formal enagements with the likes of Wright, Ayers, Rezko, Khalidi, and others -- while carefully choosing his "friends" -- palling around with more left-wing radicals such as Marxist professors and liberal colleagues, etc...
DOES NOT MEAN HE'S a RADICAL WHO SHOULD BE SHIPPED OUT TO SEA ON A LIFE RAFT.
