blind idiot NFL ref

For those of you SD fans who would like to offer Ed Hochuli some constructive criticism, here's his email address and a link to the idiot's description.

Nah. I made my rant in the "NFL is back" thread. I can forgive him. He's usually good, and people make mistakes. What I CAN'T forgive is whatever forces of evil conspired against us preventing the earlier blown call to be reversed. Leave it to the Chargers though to have TWO of the worst calls EVER in the history of the NFL happen- IN THE SAME GAME.

Meh.... Blown calls have been causing teams to win or lose games, EVERY season, since the dawn of the NFL.

I'd rather send an e-mail to Spanos Inc., asking when they'll open their cobwebbed wallets, and get some defensive players; not to mention a coaching staff, that can sustain a championship effort. While I'm at it, I'd ask why they don't take a page from the SF folks, who privately built a new stadium w/o a single $ of direct/indirect public money; and stop whining about, holding hostage, blackmailing, and ripping off the good citizens of San Diego.

As far as I'm concerned, Spanos Inc. can take their sorry azzes to L.A.

Won't disagree...but they day they head to LA is the day I shop my NFL allegiance to the highest bidder. (Please God, don't let it be the Raiders)

And the ref who blew it should be demoted until he rebuilds his ability/credibility.

I don't think it was the coaches' fault last season that Rivers, Gates, and LT were all injured in the AFC championship game. That's why they didn't have a chance, yet still played pretty well considering.

Don't know where the defense went on Sunday. Loss of Merriman shouldn't be blamed for not being able to stop a drive.

You know way more about how that works than I do. It would be nice to get it resolved.

The defense didn't show up at the end of the game LAST Sunday, either.

No question the defense currently sucks. The loss of Merriman is HUGE. Will it get better? Well...it can't get much worse. In the meantime, take the over in all SD games cuz we're gonna be in some shootouts.

Ed Hochuli is one of the best, if not the best, refs in the NFL. Bad calls happen EVERY game. Yeah, it hurts that it decided a game, but that happens too.

I hate bringing it up, but 2003 Giants at SF playoffs. A blown call (in addition to us not putting the game away) conspired to end our season.

**** happens.

I agree(d) with all of that. What I can't accept is the inability to see th replay of the first bad call. I mean, if he turned around the whole stadium was watching it on the Jumbotron.
