Is it me, or does GM like our wheels?

The new ZR-1 seems to share a certain design cue with our beloved E39s and it is definitely in the wheels. Mine are in chrome so I guess it was easier to see.

Does anyone else share this opinion?

Imitation is the highest form of flattery... and yes that was one of the first things I noticed about the ZR-1.

Nope, dont agree. I mean they look like a lot of aftermarket wheels I've seen on M5s.....but they dont look much like the stocks to me.

That 10 spoke design is actually common on the racetrack, so I think BMW actually took it from there, certainly to give the M5 a slight race look.
