Need a "Blackberry" or similar (m)
I'm not even sure what the official name is for these things, but I need to get one. Can anyone recommend one. Blackberry, Trio, etc. It's for work and we run all PC and Microsoft applications. Need to check emails and view attachments (PDF's, word documents). Also would like to be able to get on the internet. Of couse it needs to work as a phone as well.
Is the i-phone an option? I'm not sure exactly what it can do, but I love it!
Any suggestions would be great.
Thanks

I have verizon, and I use their pocket pc. Has email, word, outlook express, excel, etc. Good phone...qwerty keyboard. Pretty user friendly.

Mark
I have a slightly used Blackberry Curve that I can sell to you for pretty cheap. Phone, e-mail, internet (admittedly slow, but they all are). One of the only BB's that also has a camera. Small, slim, lightweight. Will even throw in a leather case/belt clip.
I just got an iPhone for x-mas and don't need it anymore. Only works with AT&T, so if you use another carrier, you'd need to switch. Lemme know.

I use a Palm Treo 750 with WM 6. I use Jetware to sync with M5 screen.
works a treat. And you can make calls even.

I have a blackberry Pearl....runs all the applications you desire...is smaller in size than a Blackberry...so it is not cumbersome....screen is fine...and the digits are big enough...even for my italian sausages called fingers...LOL...
I use Cingular/AT&T and I like them better than Verizon...and T-Mobile...had both....both sucked around my area of westchester...
Regards
S

I like my Pearl as well, but it is about time that RIM starts to come out with some better hardware -- something with a touch screen and a full keyboard. The new LG Voyager is a very nice phone. Now if RIM could offer that phone with the blackberry enterprise system, I would be very happy.
