You go on a rant about international and local politics and finish it up by saying you don't vote because you don't like how things are? I stand by my previous statement in the context it was presented.
If you don't act on your beliefs when presented the opportunity, then your opinion is meaningless.
If anyone was searching for a fine example of a rude, judgemental put-down I would point to the words you used.
I wouldn't say he was putting you down, or judging you. What he said was a fact; if you don't vote, then your opinion (at least in this regard) doesn't count.
Nope - not really, waiting for the Bears/Cowboys to start.
Yep, how 'bout those Bears. They really stunk up the joint.
However, the Packers, not doing so bad.
Looks like the October 7, date will be an interesting match up. Between the "Good" Rex [Grossman] and the "Bad" Wrecks [Grossman], I hope the Bad Wrecks shows up for that game.

The word was 'meaningless'. Big put-down., disrespectful, unwelcome.
I also don't appreciate the word 'rant'. I speak from the heart about my fellow countrymen (and yours), victims of liars at the top level.
None of this works positively, but end of issue. I don't want to prolong this.

Ok, then I'll prolong it because it is important.
Not once, but twice you take my comments out of context.

Then your opinion means absolutely nothing.

So, once again, I will spell it out:
If you do not act upon your beliefs when it is your right to do so, but continue to complain about the problems, your opinion means nothing. People have fought and died for the privilige you so cavalierly denounce. This is not me being rude - this is me admonishing you.
While I do not like Hilary clinton, I prefer almost anyone to senator Barrack Obama "Bin laden". If he is elected president our country will fallllll! I don't really pay too much attention to politics.
By David's standards my opinion doesn't count either (I am fukking kidding mate!!) but why do you believe that? I don't like either him or Mrs.Clinton (I want Ron Paul to be in charge) but my reasons are based on the individual dishonesty of each of those candidates (Clinton can't make her mind up until poll numbers are out, and Obama clearly stated (I saw his lips move) that we will be in Iraq for years to come while disparaging President Bush on his military adventures, pick a side senator, we are at war, moving on).
However, I don't understand how the country will fall if Obama is elected, and I especially don't understand your association of the senator with that ******* militant bastard whose name I won't speak for fear of rotting my lips? Why? Am I missing something?

I may have exagerated the whole "our country will fall" thing, but I don't see how we fight this whole war against terror, then we take some one of their descent (most likely the same extreme religeous beliefs), and want him to be in charge of our country!? Now I'm not trying to sound racist or anything, but I honestly think that if in charge he will pull some crazy ISH like selling secret military info to Al-quaida.<--SP? I dunno, I am young and inexperienced in politics. I do not want my views on this matter swaying any opinions of me as a person. This is just the way I feel.

Ok, you wish to restate your opinionated stance that labels me a person with meaningless views..
It is predicated on the myth that you can vote for someone who will represent your beliefs. This is clearly not so. There is no party in the UK that does this. More than 60% of voters have no-one to vote for, so they don't bother.
All parties ape each other, promulgating the lies that they daren't deny.
For example, you won't recognise this because you haven't been stupid or unfortunate enough to be at the receiving end of it. We have a thing called the National Health Service. It was introduced in the 1940's on the premise that healthcare would be free at the point of need, and it was suggested that in time it wouldn't be required because we would all be healthy. My take on this one is that it is a stupid concept because if a service is free, demand will always exceed supply. Politicians can't say this though, it is now a default load of bollocks that all political parties fight each other to promise more and more support for. There are better things to focus Government attention on, like giving us our freedoms back by stopping camera surveillance, telling us how much we should eat, drink, smoke, etc.
Our Government is despised by most people that I know. It isn't trusted at all. I must say that I don't know anyone who trusts your Government either.
Do you have a genuinely different type of potential Administration to vote for? Is there a candidate that offers more than less tax, more benefits etc. Is there anyone of the stature of JFK anymore? I doubt it.
Meanwhile, our children die in Afghanistan and Iraq. Iran will no doubt follow. Tell me what this is for. How are we or they advantaged?
You belittle me, but you should reflect on these things. My grandfather fought in both World Wars and my father bacame an invalid in the second so I don't need a lecture on such issues. People died so that we could be free and we are not, we are losing freedom as we watch. That is the saddest thing, not the fact that I have nobody to vote for (although the two things are inextricable).
