cbryant514 We finally moved closer to work this year, so my 150 mile/day commute is now 20 miles/day. In order to celebrate, I sold the 55MPG commuter and purchased this 15MPG, stock 2008 Alpine over Schwarz 6MT with just 60,000 miles. Fifth BMW (the others were modified toys or tourings) but first true M. Life just keeps getting better...

I want to get used to it, let it go through its first oil change, and split open the filter and check the inside for any debris. I want to erase all signs of any ill use by previous owners and then slowly put the pressure on it. Its O2 sensors are showing inconsistent readings already. I can't afford the repairs if it splits open.
