Like many others on this board, I never met your father but I derived so much pleasure from his intelligent and interesting posts on this board. I always looked forward to his posts and will miss his contributions sorely. This tragic event makes me realize how much of a great community this is. My deepest and sincere condolences to you and your loved ones.
Wish you and your family all the strenght needed to cope with this tragic event.
Rest in peace, Mr Tom Wood.

I too lost my father during my college years and it was tough. In order to get through the loss, I always told myself that it would make me a stronger person. Well, 13 years later I can honestly say that it has.
Likewise, I am speechless. Am so very sorry.
I am anticipating a very active meet come this Aug 8th when Gustav comes to SLC area with Dave (PCUT) and I envisioned that a bunch of the local members along with Tom would be there where perhaps we would here of some great reports & camaraderi at places like Miller Motorsport . Well - the meet will still happen but now there will be this noticable absence. Again I am so saddened by this news. I've sorta got this wrenched-gut feeling because of this. Never thought that I would feel this way toward a "bunch of strangers" on the net but this has become sort of a family in ways. May God in heaven comfort you and your family.

Very sad to read about this. I've read many of his posts and benefitted from the info that he shared. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolences to you and your family.
I very much enjoyed your father's comments. He was truly enthusiastic and seemed to love to interact on this board. He was a class act. I am truly sorry to hear about this. May he rest in peace.
