NY: Long Island Meet Success (Pics)

Great meet today, certainly a very red and black day! Still trying to digest my experience from the first glimpse of D. Vader and the Red Devil in the metal along with a viewing of a sea of Ferrari's. It was great meeting all of you this morning. It was fun.

A short pictorial preview from today...

more to come...

I went with the ferrari guys out to the hamps, so much fun. The enzo handed us our *** on a nice silver plate for us and we returned it to every f348, f355 and testarossa there. Next time i see Alfy ill give him the vid so all of you can see the action on his next DVD.

Nice turn out. Hopefully we will get back on track with some meets. The Red Devil was anxious for some horseblood but my wife wouldn't let me out for that long. We did have some fun on the parkways though and the initial sprint on the NSP was very I-95ish in CT. Enzo in black from the front looks like a space ship. The F50 is still awesome and any Ferrari with a tubi sounds good.

As always gentlemen I assess the success of a meet based on three factors:

1) No Accidents
2) No 5-O Encounters of any kind
3) Spirited yet responsible bursts of horsepower

In this regard today's event was a success. Thx to Karm for organising. We did however miss Max, Darren, Al & Scott. Seeing the Enzo was a real treat.

Vader II had its first opportunity to vent albeit for short spurts at a time. It’ll take some time for me to become acclimated to this car….its still for me a bit daunting.

In closing the highlight of today’s meet was the gang being graced with the company of the esteemed Menthusiast (Jerry). I also won the bet….Jerry it was great to see ya!

See you guys at our mid-August meet.

Very nice pics! Looks like it was a lot of fun and great weather!

Who are the lucky owners of the Enzo and F50? Beautiful cars! First Enzo I have seen in black and I think it looks even better than in red (or maybe not)!

Nice meet guys! this must be the first US delivered black Enzo I see pictures of and it sure looks great!

That sure is an aggressive camber angle on that 996TT!

P.S. Did you encouter the Ferrari's on one of their meet?
