It might have been but if I am not mistaken doesn't the EU specify that once a car passes a production run of 99 it has to be tested for crash worthiness etc? I was told by someone that a total of 99 Mclarens where made though it was 3rd party info.

That McClaren truly is gorgeus, but it seems it bit modest in dimensions for a supercar, looks a bit small. that seems a little excessive to have 3 million dollar cars, but it suffices to say he must be vary stable financially

Is it just me, or does it seem like McLaren F1's have some of the most uninspired paintjobs on the market? Ever picture I see of an F1 it looks dull...like something I'd see on a Chevy Cavalier. Might be different in real life, but thats how it appears to me. Oh and those Headlight casings (the plastic/glass or whatever it happens to be) always seems to be a lil faded. I have yet to see a picture where it looks crystal clear. Big turn off to me.
But besides that...what a great car!
