We're now officially at 81 units. That's with less than a day left before the deadline at the end of the day Monday.

I should have known that as things get down to the wire, I'd get flooded with requests to be added to the group buy list.

I give up with those updates. I'll give the final number tomorrow late afternoon.

Bee: Calm down there pal. Never said I wasn't in. By the way, I invested in V1 about 2-yrs ago.

Jason: You have my e-mail details already for Lidatek + 1 transp.

Install details - I'm interested but will wait for Jason to get the first unit. Hopefully not too much cutting, hacking, etc. and easy to put back in stock form.

Upgrades - I can check their site again, but anybody remember if they have any technology upgrade deals like Mike V. does?

Just waiting for final instructions now.

Rgds,
Norm

E-mail down...

Jason,

Sorry to do this to you, but our E-mail system just went down here at work and there's just no way I can send my pertinents to your "jgtang@seanet.com" address... . Can you still count me in for one unit plus one extra transponder? (the "basic system" that most people are interested in).

I promise to send you all my info when our e-mail system is restored. ...probably be sometime tomorrow, Tues 7/23, tho.... (it's past 7pm EST and I'm still at work?! I've gotta get outta here!! )

Thanks man!

Russ
P.S. I suppose that's what I get for waiting 'til the last day to sign up!

Final count

And the final count is 88 units! Russ barely made it under the wire. Try sending me a PM (private message) if your email is still down tomorrow with your contact info. (name, phone nbr and email).

I'll send in the group buy list tomorrow morning pending getting the information from Russ.

I've sent in the information to Jared at Lidatek. Please go ahead and start contacting him either by phone (360) 658-9202 or email (j.phillips@lidatek.com) tomorrow (the 23rd) to start ordering your units.

I'll be picking up mine in person next week when I return from my trip to NYC. (the 1st of August).

BTW, Russ, I'll send your contact information to Jared once I get it from you. I've already told Jared to expect an email from me with that.

Since we're at 88 units we managed to get 30% discount.

Final pricing depends on what you're getting.

Retail price for the Lidatek unit is $349 with each additional transponders selling at $100 each.

I believe that for a Lidatek unit plus an additional transponder is $310.

I'm assuming this is the final $$$

But I doubt it.

$310 for a dual transpoder unit-- that's one hell of a deal!

And that's 31.1, not 30.1!
Jason,

Per Tyson's post, the $310 price reflects a 31.1% discount. I'm unclear as to what the final number is for this deal. Did Tyson establish that as the agreed-to figure for 80 units?

Otherwise, a straight 30% discount equals $314.30.

Please understand, I'm not in a p*ssing match over $4.30, I just want to understand what my credit card will be charged.

Thanks!
