Glad to know about the Atlanta group. I live in Druid Hills near Emory but it doesn't take long to get anywhere and My favorite "open it up spot is on 400 north of Alpharetta". Please post the gathering when you have more details.

amusing link

some people never get over simple math:

z06 (405hp variety) - 7.65lbs per horsepower
z06 (375hp variety) - 8.2lbs per horsepower
S2 M5 - 8.08lbs per horsepower

newer z06 wins
older one loses maybe

aerodynamics and the launch can give a bit of edge (the z06 would have the edge in both though)

most any race in a straight line can be determined before it even starts.

lots of impossible kill stories are spawned by people racing guys who arent really racing back, by racing fake cars (as that z06 appears it might have been) or by missed shifts or people getting the jump on others.

take it to the track, see what the timing lights tell you =)

Welcome Evan

Evan, sounds like a quite a car you have there!
I'm drooling over the S2 package.
You MUST try an make our next ATL area meet!
We usually end up with a pretty good showing and we are planning on a dyno day sometime this month as Dave(Tetonaddict said).

Hope to meet you soon...
In the meantime...Suggest the Alpharetta Autoban around 3am for the high speed runs
