I would agree. Excellent Write up.. It helped quite alot this afternoon when I installed my Lidatek units.. Its nice to have vehicle specif info available.. (Now I just need to find someone that has a Write up with Photos for an X5 install.)

One thing I could have done without was the Oragami installation that is required to get some of the pieces back INTO the car when everything is finished.. (Although that's a BMW issue, and has nothing to do with the Write up.) At 6'4" there are just directions that I dont twist..

I'll get some Photos tomorrow.. I managed to install my LED in a different place yet.. (Didnt want to play with the punch out panel on the other side of the dash by the fogs, and didnt have a CLUE how to get it into the upper vent like Oak did.) I installed my LED in the natural gap where the A Pillar meets the dash. Easy install, natural wiring trough, and up high enough that its easy to see when it goes off..

Anyways. Thanks again for the Excellent Write up!
