I am back from a 6000 km trip across Europe from Sweden to the south of France (800 km /day

) and I had a stop scheduled at Kellerners on my way south. I had a very good reception from Dirk G, very professional, they did the work right on schedule and even cleaned my car.
I had the ECU upgrade installed, their short shift and exhaust (only silencers, not manifolds and catalysers). Only dissapointment was that my car only had 370hp stock but was up to 390 after the upgrade. Torque is now a little bit higher than a stock M5. I am very very happy with the conversion. The short shift is way better than the stock version, it really makes a huge difference and I can't recommand it enough on this car. The exhaust sound is glorious, very deep under 2000 rpms then really beautifull above 4000 rpms

. In the middle it's not so loud, which is good when you drive long distances. I attracted a lot of attention on the ferry back to Sweden

. Earlier I was gona pick my father up in town, he told me he could tell long before that I was nearing ! This is the way a car like this one should sound
Driving the car so much was a blast from the beginning to the end ! I was passed only twice during the trip (I will post more in the race section when I have time

) and the car worked very well even pushed at very high speeds for long time periods. I learned a lot about the car capacities by driving hard for so long(my 1st trip through Europe with the M5 was with my wife so I couldn't drive as hard as I wanted to

) and I was trully impressed, this thing is a real motorway monster. At some point I managed to cover 90km in just under 25 minutes, now I am a star with the French police, they probably have pictures of me all over place

. Suspension upgrade and anti sway bars will come next, it would help for long high speed curves for example.
Right now I am very happy with my car

, Thanks to all of you, I would not have looked into the tunning experience without the bmwm5 board. Specific thanks to our members from Poland the UK, Sweden etc... who had done the trip before me and provided help
Cheers
