        OT: Porsche Boxster

Does anyone out there know where the Porsche Boxster is made ? I heard it was not made in Germany but made at an Audi plant somewhere else. Where can I get info to confirm or deny that ?

I think BMW presses the bodyparts of the Boxster for Porsche.

some are still made in "zufeghausen" wrong spelling

One of the car mags said porsche makes some at zufeghausen and some in sweeden you could tell from the vin # you could also request one made in germany .Ihave taken a tour of the zuffeghausen plant very imprresive .why would one want a porsche made in "ikea" land nothing against the sweden.

        Get your facts right!
Some Porsches are made in Zuffenhausen in Germany and some are made in Finland.

No Porsches are made in Sweden but most of the SAABs and Volvos are made in Sweden and the most beautiful women in the world live here.

The answer to your question "why would one want a porsche made in "ikea" land". You wouldn't beacuse that is not an option.

        Cheers,
        /Johan
