Did any of you hear about the Alpina event in the US last October? Andy B. and company invited Alpina owners to a 2 day event with wine tasting and track days at Infineon Raceway in Sonoma, CA in our own Alpina's. Afterward I took my B7 to Thunderhill Raceway in Northern California for some more track time.

I just sent a CD to Gustav with pictures from the B7 on the track at Thunderhill. I hope he will get a chance to post them soon for everyone to see.

I pretty much finished the appearance mods to the B7; black painted roof and side view mirrors; white kidney grille rings instead of chrome; Alpina roundel badges front and rear instead of BMW rondells; and front and rear mud flaps.

All of the crew from Alpina saw the car in person and like I said Andy even drove it on the track with me in it. Bet none of you can say that about your Beemers :-).

When the pic's are posted I would love to get your comments on the appearance mods. Happy New Year everyone.
