alright man, thanks gustav. yeah man, i'll definitely look into getting those headers. what company do you think is the best choice? i know there is dinan, ac schnitzer, hamaan. i honestly think dinan would be the best bet but i don't really know because i bought the angel eyes and celis tailights to make my car look like an 01-03, and it ended up being halogen lights and not fitting my car. i had to buy a converter of somesort to have the tailights and headlights fit, and in the end we didn't even know if it was gonna work, so now i'm stuck with some tailights and headlights that i'm trying to sell. but for headers, wouldn't i need a stage 1 upgrade kit or something for dinan?

Hi m5miler! Thanks for the message! I think headers is a great upgrade, it gives around 20 to 30 "classic" HP. Ive did that, serach for "raodtrip stockholm monte carlo" to find the report.

I beleive the F355 would loose slightly vs 997C4S.

    Best regards Gustav gustav@gtboard.com

Hey gustav, i know there are lots of blogs and forums out here that give people a good idea of what they should get as upgrades for their e39 m5's and i know you've probably gotten this question alot, but i want your honest opinion on what you think i should get for my m5. i have about $3,000 and i still got more coming from work, but i wanted to know what would be best for my car with that kind of money. i've looked at dinan, and i can get a s1 package for like 5grand, but it only gives me 7 more hp, which doesn't seem like that much, but it also gives me better suspension, i forget all the other stuff that comes with it, but you know what i mean. i also wanted to know if you are ever gonna have a race between a 997 carrera S or 997 carrera 4S against a ferrari 355. i know thats a lot to ask, but i thought that would be pretty tight. i'm also trying to talk my dad into getting a supercharger for his porsche. i forgot the name of the company, but you can find it on google or pretty much anywhere. it gives the 997 s 501 hp, and 415 lb/ft of torque all for 11,500. a really good deal i might add. well, i'm lovin this site and all your vids, and my dad is also a very big fan of the gtboard/m5board, his friends and him watch it during lunch hour and argue over whos gonna win. see you later man.

Sorry to bother you, Gustav. But I'm not getting any notifications for my subscribed threads. I think it worked once last week, but that's been it. Can you check to see what might be up?
