    Hi,
Just saw your message. I'm out of M5 ones.... just have M3 ones. Only option would be to take off the "3".
Then it'd say "My other car is an ///M"

If you want one for $7 shipped... email me at: sloevan@yahoo.com & I'll give you my paypal addy & get your mailing info.
    Cheers,
    E

Oh, I see. I used to shift and drive around 2500 rpm also, because that's where I always have. Lots of power makes it easy to do. I reasoned that with a car that red lines at 8200 rpm, 3 or 4k is more mid range like most cars hit at 2500 (my 944 turbo red lined at 5100).

3 to 4k seems reasonable and appropriate to shift and run. So people are basically telling you that just running the car causes "premature" wear? This is a bit nuts... I can't remember if you got your car back or not - either way it must feel good to get this all done, yet scary to keep the car. I want so bad to keep mine for a long time, yet terrified of owning it out of warranty.

    Thanks for replying.

Hey Marlon, sorry for the late reply. So yes, I used to drive with the rpms in the 3K to 4K range and some thought that might have lead to premature wear on my rod bearings but it's not confirmed by any means. I now try to stay in the lower rpms but I did hear from others that lugging this heavy car around with low torque at low rpms is not good either. Pretty much inconclusive at this point.
