    Hello from Belgium,

    I am owning a 10/2005 M6 with 95 000 km on the clock.
I have currently the same vanos problem that you described. Engine check light on and also engine jerking at low spee and when cold. They checked the oil pum and it was ok. They found a leak in the internal oil line. They are currently changing it. My question: did you notice an oil consumption reduction after that your car was repaired? Mine use a quart for +- 1300 km.
Thank in advance for your reply.
    François
