Hi...The pre lci e60's take the 5w and the lci's take the 6w. I know the 5w's are brighter than the mtec's, but not sure about lux since we haven't compared the two.

hey joe just came upon this thread heard good things about you guys on the forums...question i have a set of after market lights for my 06 e60 and every once in a while i get the parking lamp malfunction msg via idrive and i wanted to get some new lights will these work fine on my older model angel eyes? secondly i want to change out the amber on the brow as well so it matches my angel eye do you guys have a light for that as well?
The 5w will work perfectly for your 2006 :) The color should match the brow's.

What is the color temperature of these?
It's about 6000k...It's LED.

What's up Joe? Are these much brighter than the previous 3W? Hope all is well. You guys coming out to the next run Dec 10th?
It's brighter but not by a lot. I will try to make it out :)
