VAT stands for Value Added Tax. It does not apply if you are buying something from outside of Germany. It is like buying something from a different state you live in and have it shipped, no tax charged. It is a form of sales tax.

So after weighing ACS, Hamann, and Hartge for my aftermarket motif I think I have settled on primarily Hartge:

Front Lip
Rear Diffusor
CF Interior kit (do they make it in silver?)
Steering Wheel
Pedals (any pics of this part anywhere??)
Classic 2s on Michelin PS2s (20" or 21" - what say you and why?)

The ECU I will leave to DINAN when they release it for warranty reasons
The exhaust will be Eisenmann race w/ oval tips because you just can't beat it for decadent (aka obnoxious) sound, and performance.
I want coilovers so it's H&Rs? Suggestions??

Gustav: Can you maybe ask Jorg if he wants to sponsor or heavily discount my AW M5 in Southern California? Let me know!

Thanks
Ali

MPire: Talk to Will at Tuner Motorsport (turnermotorsport.com) which is the official distributor for Hartge.

Hartge Parts in stock the USA

MPire,

(Thanks Gustav)

I can help you with these parts.

Currently we have in stock :

Front Lip
Rear Diffusor
CF Interior kit - Black carbon
Steering Wheel
Pedals
Classic 2's 20" and 21" ( I have only 1 set of 20"s left, more will be here in 10 days but I have plenty of 21"s)

As far as Coil Overs, H&R does not have a kit out yet. Not sure if they will have one anytime soon - something about TUV and the EDC. I do have Hartge springs and H&R Springs in stock.

Thanks for your attention Gustav and Will!

Will: I notice that your pricing is marked up a bit from Hartge's lists. I know there is the Euro-dollar conversion and shipping to think about, but I will be paying you shipping again, and not getting the 7% member discount through them directly if I order through you. Could we perhaps work out a package deal with some aggressive pricing incentive? I like to bundle and get my parts out of the way in one swoop.

Hi,

Our pricing should be the same (if not lower that Hartge list) Remember 1 Euro = about 1.28 dollars. So as an example the Front Lip from Hartge (Germany) would cost 390 euros or $500 plus shipping and duty (at least $155) so you can see why we have to get $599 for it.

We do our best to offer the lowest prices we can on Hartge product, the exchange rate and shipping really add up getting the stuff to the USA - I wish it was like the old days when the dollar was worth MORE than the Euro....

I would be happy to put together a "package" deal for you.

Please email me privately (or call me) @ willt@turnermotorsport.com

Up and down through the Eifel forest."
Gustav can I get this dine by Hartge in the states and if so how????
I saw Ronan's video of his delimted car but it seems that he had it done in Germany
Do they provide a service whereby they can get the ECU reprogrammed for M6's already in the USA???
