Do you still have Cats or are they changed from stock? Also I have cat heat delete (quiet cold start) on my RK Stage 2 Supercharged E39M5 and it's quite noticeable the difference...
This will be official when the lists gets to 15 confirmed purchases, so need to push your E60 buddies to jump on this so that all can benefit from the pricing! I'm verifying that this works on the E63 (pretty sure it does, just want to talk to Sal before I cross post), and if so I'll cross post over there to drive up some more folks!
Thanks,
jamie
Thanks Jamie,
I believe the secondary cats are deleted, so it's pretty effin' loud lol. I'll work on my M5 buddies lol.
My car is still under warranty, and if I were to take it to dealer for an oil change would they trace the changes to the ECU even if I change it back to original settings? Also can someone expend on this Sharper throttle response and drivability - choose your throttle response.
I am considering it, but I am in Australia, we have 98 octane fuel here. What does this mean for my tune?
Presently the car is stock, but I have scoops, filters and full exhaust with secondary cat delete on its way.
I am considering gutting the primary cats, i know i would need the ecu re-tuned to delete the CEL/Emissions light, but would it be imperative to retune the entire maps to compensate for complete cat deletion? if so, is it correct that it would be another $150 to make this change at a later date, or would it be advantageous to simply get the cat delete option right off the bat, BEFORE I actually gut the cats? What impact would this have on the power output if the primary cats are still in there?
Final question, if i sell the car and return it to stock, can the tune be kept and used on another car should I buy another M5, or is it a one-car only deal?

Hey Wicked,
If the dealer were to update your software you would have to reflash your tune, that's about it. The dealer won't be able to see the fuel table, ignition etc... calibrations.
Sharper throttle response is up to you. If you like it how it is we can leave it alone. It's essentially changes the amount the throttle bodies open with the throttle pedal.

Hi Mark, we currently can't supply to Australia, please contact Imran at Evolve directly and he will get you in touch with a local dealer for you!
to answer your questions, if you're looking to gut your cats soon, go ahead and get the tune for gutted cats, shouldn't change power dramatically.
Since the cables are tied to your VIN, you just need to get another cable...
