Stage 2 tune won't really make more power for you without the headers or cats to help the engine breathe better. More air in and out means more power, stage 1 is right for your car!

Right now my car is basically stock with the exception of RPI Scoops, eventually I plan on adding exhaust. Would this affect the stage 1 tune or should I just wait to add exhaust first?

Stage 1 is ideal for this. Unless you're changing the headers or cats stage 1 is the right tune!!

Can't speak for the others, but here's our Stage 2 93 Octane tune no headers or exhaust mods...

And to all our Stage 2 can be used without headers and with stock cats and you should see similar gains as below...

Here is another dyno of a car with pulley's, Tubi Cat back exhaust and we believe RPI Scoops

The power gain was slightly more than we expected but it is what it is. Most likely because only 1 baseline was done on the car before the tuning was done. Realistically the tune is giving much closer to 25hp than 33hp as the car would most likely have achieved 5-8hp more had it been tested a few more times before the tune was applied.

Hope this helps.

Let's not get too hung up on Stage 1 vs Stage 2. You let us know what your mods are on your car and will optimize for the mods. I'm educating myself a bit about the differences between stage 1 and stage 2 and honestly it doesn't appear to be much. Hassan's mods were all bolt on with no modifications to his headers or cats.

Bottom line, you let us know your mods (headers, no headers, cats, no cats etc...) and we'll tune your car for that setup! The only thing not included is Alpha-N and custom tuning for cams, lowered compression, strokers, etc...

Thanks,

Jamie
