Dyno Graphs:

Given these are extremely close to the Supersprint design, the power gains will be the same which are substantial
Please note, 5 different tests are given with corrected and uncorrected correction factors.
The purpose is to give you an idea of how these headers will react on a wide sample of cars under strict dyno testing conditions
Note also these are the ONLY graphs of their type in that correction factors are given to validate the results.
For further information and breakdowns of these graphs please do not hesitate to contact us

Car A Dyno Dynamics:

+50 Flywheel HP Corrected
+40 Wheel HP Corrected
+25 lb.ft

Car B MAHA Dyno:

+30 Flywheel HP SAE Corrected
+24 Flywheel HP Uncorrected
+23 Wheel HP Uncorrected

Car C MAHA Dyno:

+40 Flywheel HP Flywheel Corrected SAE
+47 Flywheel HP Flywheel Uncorrected
+41 WheelHP Uncorrected
+25 lb.ft

Car D MAHA Dyno:

+62 Flywheel HP Corrected
+50 Flywheel HP Uncorrected
+56 Wheel HP Uncorrected

(Note, there is a large difference in SAE correction factor and also weather condition on this result so the gains are exaggerated. gains are probably closer to 40hp)

Car E MAHA Dyno:

+36 Flywheel HP Uncorrected
+31 Wheel HP Uncorrected

As you can see, the gains and changes in the power / torque curves are almost identical in nature on 5 test cars showing the headers work consistently.

Evolve also have a Stage 3 tune specially made for these headers.
As part of the offer the tune with the evolve-R cable will be offered @ $800 rather than the normal $1000 price.

Expect gains of an additional 15hp and good torque through the midrange.

As you can see from the above dyno graphs the HP and TQ gains are mainly above 5000rpm with no loss below this.
Due to the high flow larger diameter pipe work, gas speed is slowed down and a recalibrated VANOS profile is required to speed up the gasses and giving not just top end HP but good midrange torque increases.

Sal, I think you know what triplesiks is trying to say don't you?

If not then I will ask it if you don't mind:

"So m5board members are getting a special price which is identical to that of Sonic MS selling price? Not so special after all eh?"

Sal-
I was referring to the fourth photo looking into the merge collector where on the insides one tube seems a bit out of alignment while another seems to have a buildup of metal or weld. That will be smoothed out on the production headers, right?
Thanks,
Ken

Thanks, Sal. I didn't think it was anything too serious. Can't wait to get them installed.

Sal,

Thinking out of the box, can these be run with your large 100 cell cat's but in the secondary' position?

I'd like to use this type of header but be able to switch between cat's or no cat's easily to 'tune' the sound (volume and rasp) plus I'm used to the non-petrol smell cat's afford when in traffic.

Cheers
Jay

Yes this is possible.
Basically you want a section 1 with large capacity 100 cell euro 5 HJS cats?

We mainly run these headers with stock section 1's (it's all a 'direct' bolt on). Most of the power is gained and you don't have to worry about smell or excess noise.

Headers for power, section 2 and 3 for noise tuning.

Thanks for the order.

I have a feeling these will be highly popular once people see them in their hands and see the build quality.

Valli - better get your set ordered quick because these look like they will follow the fate of the E39 M5 headers.... which are difficult to keep in stock now.

The Alpha N would be an additional $200.

Thanks for the take up on this from M5board members and existing customers we only one set of headers left out of the batch arriving in 2 weeks. We will then start taking pre orders for the batch that will be ready end of July.
