ADV.1 Expansion!

ADV.1's new production facility!

In an effort to improve our lead times, quality and production capacity we've finally moved to our new Long Beach, CA facility. As many of you know, we work very closely with MHT's machining facility as they handle the machining of ADV.1 Wheels. As our volume increased it became harder and harder for their capacity to sustain the volume which led to the machine shop production slowly transitioning to our own staff and control. Currently we handle every aspect of this end of the production and have finally moved to a 100k+ square foot facility of which ADV.1's separate 4k square foot production facility is connected to. With this move, we have many much needed changes taking affect in order to improve production. Some major improvements include:

-Additional CNC mills and lathes under ADV.1 Dedicated production.
-Dedicated mill programmer responsible for all ADV.1 programming, a major bottleneck previously.
-Additional dedicated engineering staff. Another much needed addition due to the added work load.
-The larger space necessary for rim half inventory which we previously were limited on due to space. The additional inventory supply will decrease lead times and eliminate manufacturers back orders on most parts as we'll now have them in stock.
-Improved QC and packaging
-Added staff dedicated to order updates, warranty & repair issues and customer service.

These & more newly added improvements and additions will allow ADV.1 to produce more than double the volume with faster lead times and better quality. The move has been in the works for over 6 months and now we're finally in the last stages of the transition. Unfortunately it has caused a delay on most orders and will continue to do so for the next week or two as things settle down however it was a necessary change in order to continue our growth. Thank you all for your support as always, we wouldn't be moving due to capacity if it weren't for you.

Sincerely,
ADV.1 Wheels
