This post comes with a lot of mixed feelings for me. Friday January 21st will be Kevin’s last day as a ModBargains sales rep. I will greatly miss him as a hard working & dedicated employee who added a lot to our growth here at ModBargains. Even more, I will miss him as a personal friend that I have known since 3rd grade when we met for the first time on an asphalt basketball court in elementary school. Kevin wound up going to a different high school and we lost touch but met up again.
After I started ModBargains 6 years ago, Kevin was looking for parts for his E46 3 series and not knowing who I was, messaged me on AOL AIM and asked what I could do. His last name was part of his screen name, and I knew it had to be him. That year he visited us at Bimmerfest and a couple years later he landed the job as a sales rep with us. The last year and a half has been great for all of us here – Kevin really has a great sense of humor that became part of our office environment.
I am excited for Kevin as he moves to Hong Kong with his long-time girlfriend who has landed a 2 year contract with a high profile fashion company there. Kevin is making the leap along with her and we wish him all of the best! It’s an exciting turning point in his life, and even as he will tell you it was so tough to make this decision, we all support him in it.
I invite all of you to wish Kevin a good farewell by posting here, PM’ing him, calling, e-mailing, whatever you want to do I know he will appreciate it!
We are currently interviewing and hiring for a replacement for this position. The pay & benefits are above average for the aftermarket parts industry. We have big shoes to fill with Kevin, and are excited to see who we choose as our next rep.
We also are hiring for a full time lead technician/mechanic for our newly installed service & installation equipment.
