well, it's taken us a very long time to actually get round to posting this! For those of you who follow what happens on the E39 section, we've been very busy over there working on NA tuned S62's. Taken a little longer than expected but the end result is quite satisfactory.
This is more of an introduction in this section about us and what we have been upto.
This software has been under going development for a lomg time with lots of breaks due to the above mentioned reasons.
Here it is and let us know what you think:

I have some questions from a potential customer in the US.
Is the tuned ECU file emailed to me?
I flash my ECU myself?
Do I need the $210 cable to do this, or is another option available?
Anyway for me to save the stock ECU file?
I have 4 years left on the warranty, and really don't want to risk losing that.
If I re-flash the stock file, is there anyway at all for the dealer to notice it was re-flashed? Like a time and or date stamp in the ECU, each time it is flashed.
Is the speed limit removed?
I think you mentioned rev limit is 8400 or 8500, correct?
You recieve cable and then allow us to remotely take over your PC.
We install the software for you and then extract the file from the car.
File is emailed to us.
We make the necessary changes and send the file back.
We load the file into the car for you.
All you guys do is provide us with an internet connection, plug the cable in and out of the car and turn the ignition on/off.
We can provide a cable that you don't need to keep but you might be in for a very long wait.
The cable you purchase stays with you and the loading of files only takes less than a minute.
There is no sign left that the ECU has been flashed. Dealer cannot say or do anything if there is stock software on the car.
You can do it very easily. We just do it initially as part of the service.
Throttle response is better. If you want it sharper we can do that for you at no extra charge and supply you another programme which you can keep. We do get our customers very involved and we can make changes you want. We can most certainly make it such that you won't need a sprint booster (signal bender!).
Would you offer a money back guarantee? I might consider trying this but would like to have a shop here do some independent dyno tests too. Worst case scenario is that we'd remove your tune and put back my ESS tune and a refund is made.

If you already have an ESS tune your only going to gain around 10hp no?
We would offer a money back guarantee but only if the testing is done consistently and this will require OBDII datalogging of the following temperatures:
- Intake
- Coolant inlet and outlet
- Oil
You will also need to do quite a few runs to allow the ECU to adapt. Typically the first run after the flash will actually lose power. As you run the car a few times the power will begin to rise and rise until it rises no more and stabalises. Keeping the temperatures down might be a bit challenging!
Once outlet coolant temperature rises dramatically above 70 DegC ECU will compensate by removing ignition and adding fuel so you'll need a very good cooling fan like ours and allow 1 min rests between runs.
Correct dyno testing requires a very thorough approach.
However, dyno's aside..... the road test is the one that really confirms if you would want to keep it or not!
So the dyno charts reflect a car running on 99 octane?
What would the dyno be on 91/93 octane? That is the highest sold in the US with the exception of very few locations that sell 100 Octane (at $8 a gallon)

The car before this had 97 Euro~93 US and that made similar power.
I would not run these cars on 91 octane personally but you will see a very good power gain still.
None of our customers runs the equivalent of 91 US octane but it's a test I think we will be carrying out because of the availability issues in the US.
We will be carrying out alot more work on the V10 engine with intakes and exhausts, this is just the beginning.
You know, I actually like Eloy having spoken to him a few months back. His scoops DEFINATELY work at high speeds!!
I would probably say that I would not like our companies to clash over their respective tuning and I would say you have a very good tune and stick to it.

with 98 Octane you will achieve a gain of between 20-25hp.
Gains will predominantly come after 5000rpm.
