Just received my gloss black side gills and they look awesome, thanks.

The monochrome roundels I purchased from you don't have the "3M PE FOAM" backing on them, though, and the monochrome roundels for the wheels were in a matte/satin finish, not glossy like the ones pictured.

Why are they different than the ones pictured?

Thanks,
Brad

The monochrome wheel caps have a protective matte film on it, just remove that plastic film and you're good to go :D

As for the 3M foam, not sure what you're referring to, are you talking about double sided tape?

In any event, the roundels attach securely using the OEM grommets so you're all good.

Just ordered the shadow emblem. Is the OEM emblem attached by double sided tape or bolted onto the trunk?

It's attached with double sided tape. Word to the wise: inspect the sticker on the emblem VERY carefully. I had my first emblem replaced due to paint defects, then the second one had an issue with the sticker being a bit too large (i.e. not cut to size properly) causing it to not adhere all that well at the bottom. After a couple of months with the emblem on the car, the sticker is now peeling up at the bottom. Aside from removing and replacing the emblem again per JLevi RMA guidelines, their only alternative was to send me 3-piece separate decals to replace the 1-piece decal that comes on the emblem originally.

I think I'm just going to cut out some DI-NOC to replace the flag since I don't want to have 3 separate stickers on the emblem.

So, just carefully inspect the emblem upon receipt so you don't have to deal with this later.

Good luck,
Brad

Brad,

Got my emblem the other day and installed yesterday. All looked good. Thanks for the heads up to take a good look. Hopefully the one you got just slipped past QA.
