Jlevi SW | Introducing WeissLicht LED Angel Eye Upgrades

Some of you may have already received your shipments but we wanted to formally introduce you to the new brand of LED based angel eye upgrades we are now stocking.

The WeissLicht brand was selected after testing a variety of other brands and solutions side by side to determine what would produce the most uniform light output, best color, reliability and ease of installation. We found through customer feedback and experience on our own 335 that popular LED solutions did not produce visible and uniform light output and color temperatures were not on par.

WeissLicht Brand Features
-Versions available for every BMW ever produced with Angel Eyes
-Red, Blue, and White Versions Available
-Integrated heat-sync
-Plug and play installation without unsightly harnesses or wiring.
-All installation tools INCLUDED
-High Output LEDs
-1 Year Warranty
-The best color and light output on the market - tested and verified
-High quality materials, precision machined for flawless fitment

WeissLicht Versions
H8 (XX2) Version:
-Innovative spring-loaded Y blades maximize light output by bringing LEDs all the way to your car's fiberoptics
-Proprietary material atop each LED directs and focuses light output
-Heat-sync's are integrated into Y blades for cooling without clutter
-Fully adjustable means that you can use the same unit for any car with H8 Angel Eyes. This means if you trade in your car, you can take the product with you.

E90 (XX3) Version:
-Massive heat sync prevents LEDs from burning out - extremely low failure rate
-No external "resistor" or "inverter" to deal with
-The only solution on the market with E90 LCI Halogen Fitment available

2002-2006 (XX1) Version:
-Adapter to fit any 2002-2006 model with OEM angel eyes
-Massive heat sync prevents LEDs from burning out - extremely low failure rate
-No external "resistor" or "inverter" to deal with

Are these brighter than stock or just a change of color (LCI Models 2008+)?

Change in color, correct?

Yes 2007 and 2008 use different bulb/socket types.

No shots yet on an E60 M5 but I do know a few members received their units this week so we should have them shortly.

This may be a silly question but can you explain how I would know which type of bulb/socket I would have in my 08 M5 and where they are located in the headlight. I have only just bought the car and still trying to work everything out.

If you have a 2008 you have the H8 bulb sockets for angel eyes, with a stock h8 35w bulb. You should have front amber reflectors on your bumper, your turn indicators should blink yellow but when not on look clear. Here is a shot of my 2008 M5. If your still not sure if you have the updated headlights/model search the forums for LCI and it will make clear what has changed between 2007/2008.

To access the angel eye bulb its the large cap being the inner halo rings (closer to the grills) on the back of the headlight assembly when you pop the hood. The caps are palm size and twist off, the bulbs will be right there and turn to be removed, not pulled back till you unlock them by turning them. turn towards the grill (center of the car) to release them

Hope this helps

Thank You.
Here is a pic of my car. We don't have amber reflectors in bumper in Australia, but mine does have the clear indicators as you mentioned
