Would you happen to have any dyno numbers ? Iam on the fence i would like some kind of dyno numbers before and after to push me over the fence...

On a bone stock M5 comparing our CAI to an S85 with stock intakes and charcoal filters removed, we dyno tested a gain of 24whp and 27wtq. Keep in mind that these figures are not compared to a stock intake car with charcoal filters. We removed the charcoal filters from the stock intake when we did the baseline line and then compared it to our CAI. Also, the other great part about this design is that it allows for most of that power and torque to be uitlized in the center of the powerband. Many people that purchase this intake have stated that the improvement in power feels as if another M-button is being depressed.

I am on the fence as well? I just purchased an 06 and the owner removed the dinan intake to put on his M6.. I need to replace the intake and have been told the RPI scoops are the best bang for you buck intake upgrade, however I am wondering if this is the right way to go.. The car has dinan stage 3 software,dinan throttle bodies,13% pulley and NO intake.. The biggest problem is I am short on $$ to do anything right away, but need it now..

Another question, what is the estimated install time for this system.. Is it a Do it yourself or is pretty involved? Thanks Jim

The install is pretty simple and staright forward for someone who is mechaniaclly inclined. It takes roughly 2-3 hours to do the whole install since the bumper and bottom shields do have to come off. I would consider it to be more tedious than difficult. It comes with a fully color illustrated step by step install manual.
