2009 - A recap of wheel releases

2009 has been a time of economic downturn and struggle for many individuals and companies. The wheel market on the other hand has been pumping out many wheels. The freshly released wheels have all new designs as well as new manufacturing techniques resulting in stronger and lighter wheels! Wheelsto wanted to take the time towards the end of the season to recap some of the exciting wheel releases from various premium manufacturers.

BBS - The all and mighty, always popular
CH-R was released in 20" version with 19" confirmed for release by the end of the year

LM was released with 2 new finishes in the US, Diamond Black and Gold

LM-R was released in Diamond Black in the US

Rays - One of our favorites around the shop
Volk G2 - The second generation TE37 in 19" and 20" models both featuring a slightly differing design

Volk RE30 was released in a new finish, Black Machining, for BMW application

57 Motorsport G07WT was released for BMW fitment

Strahlen TE - new forged monoblock specifically made for BMW fitment

Yokohama
AVS F15 is a new forged offering from the guys at Yokohama

Advan RS-D is now available from Advan. A high quality, lightweight, cast wheel.

Advan RZ is also a high quality, lightweight, cast wheel that is similar to the RS. This is unfortunately, not available for BMW application...yet.

Alloy Technic - A new company that is offering VERY lightweight forged wheels for BMW applications
Mesh is my favorite wheel for the year. So lightweight and a great spin on the popular mesh design.
20x10.5

B9 is a fresh new wheel design

Modulare Wheels is another new company offering 3 piece forged wheels
M11

M12

M14

M3

M4

M6

Klassen released a fresh new forged monoblock series
CFV

CSV

Work Wheels - The Gnosis Line is a new line specifically designed with the Euro crowd in mind
GS1

GS2

GS3

GS4 was just recently released in Japan and we have heard they are on their way to the states at some point.

SSR released two wheels, one of which seems to replace the Type C
Werfen GT-03 is a revival of the classic GT-3

Type-F is currently only available for Japanese models, but hopefully we will see some euro fitment in the near future.

HRE - Teaming up Dymag HRE released two carbon fibre barreled wheels with forged aluminium centers
CF40

CF43

NKB is a new brand being brought to the US market offering both forged and high quality cast.
510M is a three piece cast mesh style wheel

086R is a one piece forged 10 spoke wheel

510R is a one piece forged mesh style wheel

036M is another three piece cast mesh style wheel

Elite 8 is a three piece cast wheel

Core has some very high quality interesting wheel releases
F1 Brava

F1 Mesh

This is not a complete list either. So many different wheels have been released from all types of companies from premium forged brands to budget brands. Wheels are continually evolving in both style and quality. I can't wait to see what is released for next year!

If you have any questions about the mentioned wheels feel free to contact us or post up and discuss right here!

yes... indeed.

Forgestar is a great addition to the wheels introduced in 2009.
Well priced and with flow form cast construction and the ability to customize offset and fitment, Forgestar was a refreshing addition to 2009.

they also have 20/19/18 inch offerings now.
