Group Buy: Hartge style rear diffuser

As many as you know, I put the Hartge diffuser on my car and everyones liked it. The shop I go to, made a EXACT replica of it. 100% Guarentee'd fitment. He's starting off a group buy for the first few pieces so everyone can show the community that the product is what he states it is.

Shop: Euro Rev

Price : $350 for the piece (just primed + local pickup)
Additional:
+ $30 (shipping)
+ $120 (painted, best paint shop around socal..)

It's a steal. If you have any questions, or anything if they'res anything I can do to help. Please let me know.

What is the part made of FRP (fiber glass) or Polyurethane plastic (like OEM bumpers)? If it is made from FRP I have found other sites that sell it for much less ($243)... I'm interested in getting this piece to complete the exterior look of my car, but for the right price

Sorry, They were hand made out here in California... They're fiberglass. I guess jump on the other site for $243 but he doesn't guarantee fitment. I'll speak to my buddy and see if he'll drop the price.

Actually I found a source in Malaysia that can do them for $150... but communications with them isn't great... Don't know about your source though if they actually make them themselves, might be a better fitment... I have a good garage here that can handle the fitment issues if necessary

Also TMS is selling the originals for $500 (a while ago I saw them selling it for $399) ... so a "replica" should cost usually half the price or less... well to me anyways

I was checking around, they sell for 1000... They are made by hand out here in Los Angeles, I went and checked them out. Fitment is 100%. What's a "reasonable" price because I bought my USED one for 500 and had it repainted for another $100. So I don't know where you got originals for $500 for.

I just checked out their site, its 500+65 shipping, so you're paying 565 vs 380. He said his replica is so good that you can't tell the difference between the real and replica. It can pass for authentic. He said he's pretty firm on his prices since all the labor and work is done in Los Angeles, it's not a cheap replica from people out in Malaysia.

You get what you pay for, you're more then welcome to get the piece for $150, let me know how it goes. It doesn't make a difference for me, I'm just posting this for the shop.

I might be interested. How does this piece attach? Glue? Is it easy to do yourself? Thanks.

Pretty simple install, took me 5 minutes. Theres two screws under your stock diffuser, take them out, put the new diffuser on then screw them back in... I wanted a little extra protection so I added glue in the front... Double sided tape can be used too. It's just personal preference.

I'm not saying that EuroRev's product is bad... since he is doing it in house I'm sure it is good quality. But from my experience most of these online shops sell products (the same ones found on ebay and from same manufacturers) for a lot lot more.... As I said before about the Malaysian source that I found seemed shady... So I'm going to try with the other shop that I found... If they are out of stock then I'm on board for this group buy.

Anyways, thanks for taking the time and effort in setting up this group buy
