E60 530d rough running

I have a 2004 530d which at idle in traffic will periodically run very rough as if only firing on 5 cylinders. No fault symbols will appear on any diagnostic tools but it still persists. Also infrequently I get a total flat power response but again no faults appear on diagnostic tools. Any suggestions please ?

1. Fuel filter replacement.

2. Air filter and MAF sensor cleaning.

Good luck!
