Sorry, not at the moment. It's usually less than 24 hours turn around, sending your ECU in is no big deal.

Reserve your slot for bimmerfest! So far we are programming 3-4 E60 M5's and 1 E90 M3. We still have a couple slots available for tuning on the spot. Let me know!

Mike, I'll be there. I'm the one who has AA already. Had new plugs installed this week and things are feeling real good now! I'll look for you tomorrow (Saturday) in Santa Barbara.

disconnect battery required?

You too Mike! It looked like you were real busy there at bimmerfest. How many cars did you program? I told Way2Fast that I would pull the ECU for him, when he's ready. Did he make contact yet?

Hey, I read that disconnecting the battery should be done when removing the ECU. I've removed an ECU several times without doing that, without issue, is that a no-no? Does removing power from the vehicle cause other issues, other than the obvious, like resetting date and time etc...?

I was unaware that you are supposed to disconnect the battery and did not do that. I had no problems, but maybe I was just lucky.

Mike, if the battery should be disconnected, ESS should revise the directions accordingly.

Doesn't matter. When my M3 was tuned at bimmerfest we disconnected/reconnected the DME over 15 times for different revisions while the battery was connected.

It's just good measure to disconnect it. That way there is no possibility of power connecting to ground if a tool were to fall or something of that regard.

Software group buy

Mike,

Is this group buy still available? What added gains are realized with your headers? Thanks.
