**ESS E60 M5 / M6 Custom Tuned Performance Software GROUP BUY**

Group buy time , Here is some info on ESS for those of you that are not familiar:

ESS Background:

ESS (European Supercharging Systems) has been around for over 15 years and has time and time again produced software and supercharger kits that beat the competition in terms of price, performance, and reliability.

I am very good friends with those who test the ESS prototype products, as well as the programmer himself. The programmer is absolutely amazing. He knows these BMW ECU’s better than anyone else. I’ve been following tuners since around 2004 – I know most of them and what they modify in the code to achieve their results.

The BMW DME’s are extremely complex computers. Two processors, and the ability to perform millions of operations per second keep that V10 roaring past 8000rpm. For this reason you want to go with an ECU upgrade that retains factory reliability, while increasing horsepower and torque the RIGHT way, rather than through the use of piggyback systems that trick the cars DME, or tuners that simply increase the timing.

ESS actually has the expertise to remap virtually all portions of the ECU for better drivability and performance, without a sacrifice to reliability at all.
After this software was installed in my car, I immediately felt a huge difference in performance. Most of all, the car is much smoother than before. It really changed the characteristics of the motor for the better. The biggest gain in this software is a huge increase in low end torque and drivability. Over the last couple months, I have also seen a 2-3MPG increase in gas mileage.

Here are the specifications:

-Raised Rev Limiter to 8400RPM (optional 8500RPM at your own risk)
-Removed Top Speed Limiter
-Remapped and Improved Engine Parameters, including timing, fueling, and VANOS operation
-Improved Throttle Response
-Improved Torque Management Programming
-Ability to request a CEL delete in case of exhaust modifications
-Custom tweaking based on your current/future modifications

Will I be able to change my tune if I add cams, etc?
Yes, we will offer 100% custom programming based on the modifications you have. If you have already purchased software, the charge will be 200 base + 110/hour for additional tuning. Not bad at all!!

Why am I losing power with headers, and how will the ESS software fix this?
We have come a LONG way since our original tune on the E60 M5. Hundreds of tunes later we have finalized the files and are ready for the US market. All of this comes down to the torque management in the ECU.
With the ESS software, we change the exhaust vanos timing positions due to the change in backpressure from the headers. This will net you a GAIN with less restrictive performance headers!

We have seen gains of up to 20hp and 20tq to the WHEELS with just ESS software and NO other modifications.

At the last RPI meet, my car was dynoing within 5 HP of E60/E63's with headers, cat delete, pulleys, etc... Could it be the software?

Retail pricing on this software is $1295. Intraductory pricing on the software through m5board was $1149.

With this group buy we need atleast 7 people interested, preferably 10-12.

What happens if the dealer flashes my car and overwrites the ESS software?
We'll reprogram it for you free of charge, less any shipping!

GROUP BUY PRICING IS ONLY $1049.99!

Please add your name to the list if you are ready to go. Turn around time for shipped ECU's is normally 1 business day. Please feel free to PM me on the board or email me at mike@esstuning.com if you have any questions. We GUARANTEE YOU WILL BE SATISFIED!

Here are some testimonials from people who have our software installed/people who have ridden in the ESS equipped beast:

RKN: That is the minimum gain you will receive with the software, without removing charcoal filters, etc.

If you remove the charcoal filters/add exhaust, you will see a considerable gain. The gain in low end torque and driveability is nothing short of amazing.

Marshall: It is still being manufactured in Europe, not yet.

Not hard at all. People who have never taken their car apart have done it in less than 30 minutes with little or no difficulty.

I can provide a pdf with removal instructions if you'd like.
