Are your Sec 1 and 2 based on/similar to what's available on the market by other manufacturers? Mufflers also?

Do you have pics?

Also, what type of sound and loudness will your setup be?

Not sure I understand your question about similarity? Can you elaborate a little bit?

No pics ... YET

Sound and volume will be adjustable from a mix and match of the pieces. From aggressive and guttural to loud and racy - just mix and match.

Thanks

Sorry Brad for the confusing question.

Eisenmann/SS/Hartge has their own version of the "X Pipe".

Design wise, is yours similar to any of these?

Have you improved the "flow" over the others?

Ok, now I understand.

We have chosen a design that is more or less a hybrid between a true X and a H pipe. This design is dyno proven on other applications to be highly effective.

As far as flow, the non resonator x-pipe will flow slightly better then anyone (as there are no resonators). However, the resonator that we are using is a zero loss style so the over all HP of the resonator and non-resonator pipes *should* be the same. This will be confirmed on the dyno.

I cannot get too detailed yet, but as soon as I have pics, I will post!

Thanks

Have you optimized any software for your exhaust bits?

There is absolutely no need. Anything after the headers will not impact the tuning at all. And further with this car, even the headers do not need software as the car self-adjusts to maintain the optimized A/F ration.

Thanks

Am i correct in assuming that the cat by pass means no cats ? if thats the case, wouldnt that cause the check engine light or any other defult to occcur ?

I removed my cats off my ex e39 m5 which made it run rich with the "check engine" light appearing on my dash

The CEL light is most likely going to come on after the header. This is not 100%, as each car is a little different as far as the sensitivity of the electronics. However, there are software solutions to address this available (with our own Powerchip/evosport option available very soon).

Removing the cats (meaning using the header and a cat-bypass) will cause the CEL light, and yes the by-pass does remove them (secondary cats). Again, there is software to address this (see above)

Thanks!
