I too am interested depending on how easy it is to install (don't want to hack up my Beast!) and price.

And once they do have the actual door sill made, I'm sure we'll get more details as to where it can be tapped into from Ryan. I'll post up here as soon as I get more info from GrafxWerks. This thread shows that there is a lot of interest in this product. Something that GrafxWerks was hesitant to believe at first. Gotta understand that there is NO illuminated door sills on the market currently made for the E39. I've convinced Ryan by way of this thread to even begin producing a set for the E39. Let's hope he gets back to us with a prototype soon.

Kindly post a link here to your thread. Thanks.

Update

Just received an update from Ryan @ Grafxwerks.

He says that all the parts needed for the first prototype sill are on their way to him and he "should have the laser-cut backing by the end of the
week and hopefully some photos of a prototype for you by next Monday." I can't wait to see the pictures. Will post up as soon as I get them.

Now about pricing. It will be a base of $375 for a pair of the front sills (changes in color, options, or design extra-- see the website). At 10+ orders the price will drop $25 per pair. This will be for the standard lettering (===BMW===, ===BMW Individual===, or ===///M5=== ). He will need $200 deposit per order with the remaining amount due before shipment.

For the folks who want custom lettering, Ryan has stated that he will handle them on a case-by-case basis and it will not be included in this group buy.

Now that we have some more definite numbers, going to need a new more definite list. Let's make this happen!

1) crnjyM5 ( ===///M5=== )

Have the concerns w/ power (and heat), etc. been worked out? I'd like to know these details up front (and that it's been properly/successfully implemented vs theoretical). Thanks.
