I understand this list isn't a concrete list by any means. Just thought I'd compile one anyways to show Grafxwerks the interest is most definitely there. Ryan has been very skeptical M5 owners would be interested in something like this.

What's the chance you can convince the maker of this product to make a version for us DINAN owners. Either the DINAN logo or S3 ///M5 as a logo ?????
Thank you my friend!

I'll email him and see what he says. Maybe he can arrange it "under the table" so to speak. Not sure what the legalities are concerning what will be "custom" lettering on an item. I'd imagine the first prototype will be done with the normal ///M5 logo, but Ryan has said that he is able to do custom logos for an extra fee. We'll see.

For a sec I thought you wanted to put illuminated M5 doorsills on your X5 as well

BTW, thanks for your exhaust vid. I just got the ECU from PC last night and already noticed the noise level toned down a bit, especially when cold and at the low end of the RPM range, definitely re-worked the proper A/F ratios. Will take her for a long and aggressive drive tomorrow so the ECU adapts quicker and let you know how things turn out. Cheers

Oops. Sorry about that haha.

Not to highjack my own thread, but would anyone know if there are any vendors out there willing to sell or produce an LED license plate light? I see the white led lighting the new Lexus' have and it's really really nice. Vendors you reading this?

Where do you tap power from?

I saw this thread last week, and Vason was kind enough to PM me & asked me to check this thread out out too as this sure would be another nice lighting mod to our beasts.

But my question is - On an E39 M5, has anyone checked to ensure there is indeed power wire somewhere underneath the M5 doorsill to tap power from to enable the new doorsill light?

And re: license plate light LED, you can change your festoon bulb to LED but it will trigger a Lic Plate fault light. So unless you are willing to install a load resistor (which gets pretty hot) you will get a fault light. And without a load resistor, the LED bulbs would also flicker. I know because I tried this already.
