The DIY instructions are linked on Post #131.

I went with white lighting primarily because I have blue LED's in the footwell doors. Too many different color lights would be overkill. Red would probably look pretty cool but I would think the /// stripes would light up best with white light.

I generally recommend either white or amber illumination. MGZ went with amber, the others went with white, so hopefully we'll see some pics of both soon!

I've been in communication with Ryan about the plain ///M panel. Turns out, his light board has a small line in the exact middle - which would go right through the M, and not look very good. He can make it work with more text (as he can put the line between letters), but not for the ///M.

I was very pleased with his customer service on this issue. Despite him not being able to make it look good with just a ///M, he offered to do pretty much anything else I want. However, I just wanted the simple, classy ///M - so he refunded my payment.

///M is out, but ///M Power or pretty much anything else is in (though perhaps not for the gb).

He'll work with you - my take is he's a stand-up guy. (thanks Ryan!)

Jeremy hit the nail on the head with the plain ///M... as I offered him, I can do "M5" or "M Sport" or "M Power" or whathaveyou, just no plain "M".
