Hey Dragon,

It seems a little strange how suddenly you post in defence of OSH?

1 Post is hardly a convincing arguement, especially when its your first post.

The guys complaining have many thousands of posts. They are known and respected Long term members.

Two minutes after your First assuring post, you needed to be reminded of a lot of issues.

Not only have you not done OSH any favours, you have done yourself an injustice.

A dragon is a creature of Honour. As others have mentioned, a Half storey, even if that half of the storey is 100% true, is still only half the storey.

Where there is smoke, there is Fire. A Dragon knows this.

Re: Osh Minelian re: RMS BlackM5 thread

Dragon, I'm glad yours turned out, my m3 NEVER did.
I seriously doubt it was a smooth road to get yours where it is now.
Yea! why such a fast response after Osh and then nothing to repost?

Guys, funny story, when on one of the f/i forums there was a guy with a 330 s/c (rms coolaid drinker),he talked so high of RMS you'd thought he was in bed with Osh. Anyway it was a RMS poll on what the current opinions were, well it was a mix of good, fair and alot of bad. Well I posted a short reply of my bad experience and this guy starts emailing me all defensively with this and that... . Even wanted to race. Um yea! let's see 330s/c with all this and that vs. m3 turbo with even more this and that ,that would have been close. Even so go all the way from tx. to cali for that....what are we still 17 yrs. old? LOL This went on for a few days as I tried to talk some maturity to him bmw owner to bmw owner
So the short of the story, here goes , ready?
I seen him post about a month after that on that forum bashing RMS and looking for help and sympathy as his super 330ci went bad, needless to say I sat back and watched other members that remembered him go at him.

O' another bit. On that f/i forum there is a moderator that is tight with Osh and he's been known to 'remove or alter' anti RMS posts.
This info found through emailing outside the forum.

One post isn't going to change the thoughts of these hardcore senior members, especially when they know the score, since they can read in between the lines of your post and any other post pertaining to this matter. Some things are just glaringly clear, as in this subject. In closing a cop can smell donkey dust coming from a mile away. Get my point!

Let's be candid, JGM whom I have spoken with a couple times seems like a very good company and the proprietor a great guy. Honest, straight forward, my kind of guy. He verified that the attempt was made to sleeve the block however it sat in your facility way to long and then as I have shared with you directly and in an earlier post...... you directly lied to me. You told me the block had been machined, the sleeves had been manufactured and were being installed. JGM also confirmed that you discussed the idea of coating the cylinder walls however he did not and does not recommend it. He stated that the block in his possession is junk and either a replacement or new block is recommended. As the result of this I told you and Abdulla that I located another used block and will verify it's condiition. In the mean time that block is being picked up if for no other reason that to have all the pieces together again.

Yesterday when we chatted you said "why is Abdulla so upset I simply do not understand" and I raised my voice and said "if you remove the lies, the delays in the project schedule, the fact that parts were not ordered as you promised me, and then when the motor was finally removed from RMS if you had given all the parts back not to mention the correct super charger (the original was sold to another) as well as the heat exchanger etc." then you are right, Abdulla has nothing to be upset about. I told you it has been nearly two weeks and you still have not returned the parts. You asked if Abdulla was aware of this and I said "absolutely". I told you that your lack of accepting responsibility was simply astounding.
It amazes me that he is wondering why im upset !

One question, why has Osh not answered to any of the posts ?
Has anybody spoken to him ?

And also one question to Shadowman, did you profit from completing any
of these projects ?

Re: Osh Minelian re: RMS BlackM5 thread

Yeah, why isn't Osh answering up? Well, it's pretty obvious that he going to be held to answer and his answers are not going to solve the problems. Just more of the same with a little more seasoning thrown in with the hope to lure more in later. I doubt if there's enough seasoning in the world to cover the rotten smell of this deal, though.

Exclamation Re: Osh Minelian re: RMS BlackM5 thread

WHAT'S WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE?!?!

I recently acquired a 2002 M5 and of course I immediately joined this web site. As I was browsing the site, I noticed a familiar designation RMS. I read thru the dialog and was really confused since I left this location no more than two hours ago. The source of the confusion was that there is either two RMS's and Osh Minelian's or something was not right with what I was reading.

I was having a re-occuring problem that I needed taken of rapidly in order to smog the car. My Dealers schedule could not accomodate my needs and a friend suggested I take the car to a business associate in Van Nuys, CA. I solved the problem and the car was successfully smogged but I decided to make an appointment and run up and check out RMS anyway since I had just read the article on the RMS Superfast in Car and Driver.

Upon arriving I was greated by a very energitic and highly motivated staff of mechanics and staff who were obviously well versed in taking care of potential cuistomers. Osh had not arrived yet and his team went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Although busy on various projects they responded to all of my questions.

Osh arrived and introduced himself and asked why I was there, and then went to work on isolating my reoccuring problem. In between many interuptions (this is a very busy man) the problem was identified. He then insisted that I stay in the area and drive around a while and bring it back for a recheck. I did this. We had to do this a couple of times. When I tried to pay him, he refused and only after repeated attempts did he agree to let me buy him lunch. I got a good sence about what this guy was all about at lunch and was very impressed with him, his approach toward his business (in it for 26 years) and his business ethics.

I am a retired executive of a major aerospace company after 37 years and have developed a pretty good ability to read people and business situations. All I can say is that something does not add up with what I am reading on this message board about Osh and RMS and I smell a competitive RAT!!
